Dr. Walters is committed to improving foot care, increasing her patient's level of activity and most importantly their quality of life. Her dedication to the field of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery began in 1999 with enlisting in the Louisiana National Guard as an Army Medic. In Army Basic Training, the abundance of foot injuries spurred her desire to work in the field of foot and ankle healing arts.

Loyola University of New Orleans Bachelor of Science, Biology Pre-Med, Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia.
Residency
Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in Michigan and the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tucson. She completed three years of post-graduate training where she received intensive training involving wound care, skin grafts, diabetic limb salvage, rear foot reconstruction as well as traditional foot procedures like bunionectomies, digital arthroplasties (hammertoe repair), pedal joint fusions, orthotic therapy, and implants for patients of all ages.
