Joe Albright, DPM, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon who joined The Foot Doctors of Santa Cruz County in 2021. Joe is native to Santa Cruz county, growing up in Corralitos and attending St. Francis High School in Watsonville. He graduated from The University of Notre Dame, Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and finishing is Pre-Professional Studies. He then went on to Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio, where he earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.

Following graduation, he completed his surgical residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio. Dr. Albright then completed a one-year Advanced Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship with University Hospitals. He received extensive training on complex pathologies, sports medicine, trauma, and surgical reconstruction of the foot and ankle.

Dr. Albright is excited about being back in his hometown and serving the community in which he grew up. Joe enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife Kristen and his son Joey and their boxer Rudy. Joe is one of 6 siblings and spends lots of time together throughout the week. In his free time, he loves cooking with his family, golfing, hiking around Nisene Marks, and spending time at the beach.
