About Dr. Brenis
With over 30 years’ experience practicing podiatry, Mark Brenis, DPM, proudly serves Santa Cruz and Watsonville, California. Dr. Brenis performs foot surgery and provides other state-of-the-art medical care and podiatry services at The Foot Doctors of Santa Cruz County.
He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland. Later, he went on to complete his residency at the Cleveland Foot Clinic, which is associated with the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Brenis specializes in treating sports injuries. He’s had a lifelong passion for football and basketball and has worked for many years assisting local teams as a trainer and doctor. Dr. Brenis enjoys helping young athletes learn how to keep their feet healthy.
In his practice, Dr. Brenis believes that it’s crucial for doctors to listen to their patients. He takes the time to thoroughly understand each patient’s medical needs and treatment goals. During the treatment process, Dr. Brenis works to help his patients find the right solution for their foot issues.
A member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the California Podiatric Medicine Association, Dr. Brenis also enjoys many outdoor activities. When not practicing podiatry, he enjoys hiking, bicycling, playing softball, and spending time with his family and golden retriever.
