About Dr. Parupia

A new member of The Foot Doctors of Santa Cruz County team, Yaseer Parupia, DPM, provides both foot surgery services and general podiatric care to a diverse group of patients in the Santa Cruz and Watsonville area.


Dr. Parupia completed his residency at Kaiser Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program, where he rotated through several different hospitals in the greater San Francisco area. At each location, he studied a diverse range of health problems affecting the feet.

During his residency, Dr. Parupia also served as chief resident and participated in complex surgical cases. He worked alongside some of the top podiatric surgeons in the country. Dr. Parupia also served in a medical mission to Vietnam, performing clubfoot surgery for patients in need.

Dr. Parupia has extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle care including elective surgery, surgical reconstruction, and foot and ankle trauma. He also works to assist patients who suffer from complications of diabetes affecting the feet.

In his practice, Dr. Parupia focuses on helping patients find practical solutions for many different foot and ankle problems.  He views each patient as a unique individual and works to provide all his patients with the care they need to keep their feet healthy.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Parupia enjoys working on medical research. Currently, he is in the process of publishing two research papers and hopes to continue pursuing research as a practicing physician.
